Moon Flow
For us, this is how the moon phases feel energetically.
In a seasonal chi workshop in the late 90s, Daniel intuited - out of the blue - the above movements that mirror the waxing and waning of sap and chi of the changing seasons. After he started taking Jeff's new moon workshops, he discovered that this waxing and waning of chi also plays out during the lunar cycle...and really, is the energy of cycles in general.
New Moon
Like winter - the darkest time - at the new moon, the lunar energy bottoms out externally but concentrates internally, in our roots, core and inner life.
As the sun (symbolic of the conscious mind) and the moon (subconscious) align in the same zodiac sign, you can tune into your body wisdom with our unique fluid movements to connect with one particular sign's themes and energies and notice if any whispers or inspiration are bubbling up from your body.
Full Moon
Like summer - the brightest time - at the full moon, the energy is at its highest as the sun (conscious mind) and moon (subconscious) are in opposite/complement signs of the zodiac.
So the full moon is an optimum time to cross-train opposite pairs of signs and move into balance with our unique fluid movement pairs.
