Moon Intro
Moon Flow
Feel your way through the subtle ebb and flow of the moon phases.
We invite you to go with the flow of the opportune moments of the lunar cycle!
We believe that there's an opportune moment that happens at the new moon - the darkest time of the lunar cycle.
If you think about it, darkness is the optimum time to sleep, dream, vision, meditate and connect with your inner life.
No mystery huh? Similarly, when you walk into a dark room...
...you have no idea what's in there, you can only imagine, intuit or project.
The darkness of the new moon is the same way - on a more subtle level - but the new moon is the maximum subjective time, and easiest to imagine, intuit and connect with our inner life without outer distractions...if we will only slow down, relax, tune in and notice.
So in the lunar cycle, the new moon is the most subjective and least social time - like sleeping or meditating...an opportune moment to notice what's bubbling up inside.
It's also our experience that - like winter, the darkest time - at the new moon, the lunar energy bottoms out externally, moving from our muscles and periphery, pulling inward to concentrate internally, deep in our roots, core and inner life. As the sun (symbolic of the conscious mind) and the moon (subconscious) align in the same zodiac sign, it's also an opportune moment to tune into your body wisdom with our unique fluid movements to connect with one particular sign's themes and energies and notice if any whispers or inspiration are bubbling up from your body. The movement below is a subtle reminder of this phenomenon. Notice the inward focus and lack of eye contact.

So the new moon is like planting new seeds, thoughts, dreams, or visions, and you may feel more introverted at the new moon! We have also noticed that there can be a relative tendency to avoid eye contact more at the dark of the moon - reflected in the movement above - solely because we are more focused on our own internal experience.
The other side of this polarity is the full moon. It's like harvest time - harvesting what you planted two weeks before at the new moon. The movement below embodies the full moon's in your face, not so subtle qualities of openness, outer focus and expansion outwards!

Like summer - the brightest time and the maximum amount of light - at the full moon, the energy is at its highest as the sun (conscious mind) and moon (subconscious) are on opposite sides of the earth in opposite/complement signs of the zodiac. You can see the most clearly with the most light, so the full moon is like eyes wide open and wide awake - the most social and OBJECTIVE time.
So the 3-4 days of the FULL moon are an opportune moment to see with maximum objectivity what you have created since the NEW moon.

Caveats: 1. the current weather, season and other external and personal circumstances certainly impact how you feel. 2. the dark of the moon in summer - the brightest time - may feel more social than a new moon in winter - the darkest time.
